Professor G. Ronsisvalle is Professor of Medicinal Chemistry and head of the Medicinal Chemistry Research Group at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Univesity of Catania in Italy.

Dr. G. Ronsisvalle is recepient of Grants of Research on Central Analgesics by Italian Minister of High Education (M.U.R.S.T.). He is also recipient of grants by the University of Catania.

Dr. Ronsisvalle group research fields of interests are:

• Opioid agonists and antagonists
• Ligands for sigma receptors
• Carbohydrate and synthetic vacines
• Peptidomimetics and molecular modelling

In the presented project group will concentrated on synthesis peptide-non-peptide hybrides with broad spectrum of receptor selectivities.
